This dial caliper is one of my most used tools. If
you're sorting stones it's tremendously faster and easier to read than
traditional Vernier calipers. As you can see by the second photo
stones are easily moved in and out of the anvils by tweezers. It
also does inside measurements as well as outside measurements of items
that won't fit on the anvil. Comparable calipers run between $200 to $300. |
